Raven Wall Maps are unmatched for their beauty. Using elevation tinting and shading, the viewer can immediately see the contour of the land. Looking at these maps is like looking at an acutal landscape. Raven uses colors ranging from green for lower elevations, rising through yellows, tans, browns, greys and finally white for the highest elevations. Shading is applied as if the sun were in the northwest, casting a shadow across the landforms. Available are maps of the U.S., North America, the World, and every U.S. state.


ROLLER MOUNTING IS AVAILABLE ON MOST LAMINATED MAPS. ROLLER MOUNTING IS A PROCEDURE WHICH PUTS THE MAP ON A WINDOW SHADE TYPE MECHANISM, ALLOWING THE USER TO RAISE AND LOWER THE MAP AS NEEDED.

We use a clutch and chain system to raise and lower the map. There is a plastic chain on one side of the roller mechanism. Simply pull the chain one direction to lower the map, and the other direction to raise it. This works better than a map that is tension rolled. Tension rolled maps tend to "snap up", occasionally, requiring you to re-roll the map.

The default color of the chain and metal bottom bar is black. If you want a white chain and bar, you must type in this preference in the "notes to merchant" field.

Looking for an economical method for hanging your laminated wall map? Latitudes can install grommets - metal rings that provide a sturdy anchor for nails or screws. We recommend 4 grommets (one in each corner of the map).
