ROLLER MOUNTING IS AVAILABLE ON MOST LAMINATED MAPS. ROLLER MOUNTING IS A PROCEDURE WHICH PUTS THE MAP ON A WINDOW SHADE TYPE MECHANISM, ALLOWING THE USER TO RAISE AND LOWER THE MAP AS NEEDED.

We use a clutch and chain system to raise and lower the map. There is a plastic chain on one side of the roller mechanism. Simply pull the chain one direction to lower the map, and the other direction to raise it. This works better than a map that is tension rolled. Tension rolled maps tend to "snap up", occasionally, requiring you to re-roll the map.

The default color of the chain and metal bottom bar is black. If you want a white chain and bar, you must type in this preference in the "notes to merchant" field.
